Est. 2018 · Letron Music Inc.
We built Letron because great music shouldn't need a degree.
Letron started as a research project at NTHU in 2018. Today it's used by 450+ schools and counting.
WHERE IT STARTED
Frank, Ruby, and Charles met at National Tsing Hua University and shared one question: why does creating music require years of formal training, when the instinct for good sound is something most people already have?
That question became a startup. In 2019, Letron Music Inc. was officially incorporated and accepted into the Executive Yuan Startup Hub. The first version of Letron APP launched in 2020 — beta-tested at Neihu Senior High School in Taipei.
2021
First of its kind
Hosted the world's first AI × human co-creation music competition. Judges included Golden Melody Award veterans. Half the finalists had never written a song before. The youngest was 13.
2022
Proof it works
Letron's debut album became the first case globally of AI-assisted amateur compositions produced into a short film. The film won Silver — Best Music Composer at the Tokyo Film Awards.
2023
Going global
Joined Google Project Hatcher. Received $100K USD in GCP credits. Solved the multi-language composition problem after years of R&D.
2024
CES debut
Letron APP 2.0 debuted at CES — the largest consumer electronics expo in the US. Received the highest score from Silicon Valley judges. Selected into PwC Taiwan Startup Accelerator.
2025
Into schools
Launched the Youth Music Talent Acceleration Program with Taipei City Youth Department. Hosted multiple AI Song Release Workshops, helping students publish original works from scratch.
WHAT WE'RE BUILDING TOWARD
A music ecosystem where learning, creating, licensing, performing, and listening are connected — and where everyone who creates has a clear path from first note to royalties.
We use AI and data not to replace creative judgment, but to make it accessible and verifiable.
